Use the power of objective evaluation and leave your ego behind. If you are not honest with yourself you won’t be able to get better.

Evaluating your game is a skill in itself, and you will get better with repetition.

And remember, this is your solely focus when playing poker: A-game.

Step No. 2

Tilt

Tilt!

The big enemy.

In Pokermind we understand tilt as any deviation from your A-game. It varies in depth and duration, but everyone tilts.

You can’t be tiltless, but you can tilt less.

Step No. 3

Review

Understand your tilt pattern, your triggers, emotions, mistakes, behaviors…and you will detect it earlier and understand it deeper and then you will have the starting knowledge to work on it.

You will also review your positives, the things you do well, and the things you have to improve in the next session.

*These series of multiple answer questions have a set of predefined answer that you can edit or add new ones.

Step No. 4

Performance variables

Your daily routines and habits have an impact on yourself and, in turn, in your performance.

With Pokermind you can track up to 10 variables with yes or no questions. There are 5 predefined questions (sleep, diet, exercise, sickness and substances) but you can change them and/or add your own ones.

With enough data, you will be able to see how your numbers change by applying these variables as filters for your mental game statistics.

Step No. 5

Review your goals

Review your time goals and specific objectives that you set up in the Warmup.

Step No. 6

Wrap up

You start the session in the Warmup by creating separation with your regular life and you should finish the same way.

Wrap up the session and don’t let your poker issues affect your life.

Writing is the best way to process locked emotions and clear out your mind from the poker noise. I recommend you to try it out.
